Hi! I'm Aleks(andar Todorović). I work as a Platform Engineer at OCCRP.org. I'm based in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Outside of work, I'm interested in social aspects of the Internet, local politics, climate change, urban planning, and I'm trying to learn German. For a more formal form of introduction, check out my Résumé.
What is this?
This is not a blog. I've been maintaining some type of personal blog for about a decade. Nowadays, I find blogs as a medium to be very limiting creatively. I still want to write and share things online that other people might find useful, I just needed to rethink my approach.
This is a one-man wiki. Other people might refer to similar websites as their digital garden or their second brain, but the principle remains the same: it's a "thinking in public" experiment in which pages are meant to be deeply interconnected and updated over time as I learn more about the topic.
How it works
I spend about an hour a day researching whatever I want to research and I document my findings. Whenever I feel like I've reached the stage in which my note feels better in some way than other online sources I found, I click publish.
Me on the web
- Mastodon: @aleks@social.lol
- Twitter: @input_sh (I'm planning to get rid of it and I refuse to call it X.)
- Bluesky: input.sh (I only use it to follow about 10 accounts that I used to follow on Twitter that refuse to make a Mastodon account.)
- Reddit: /u/input_sh (Used very occasionally, I doubt you'll find anything interesting there.)
- GitHub: @inputsh
- GitLab: code.input.sh/aleks (Prefer it over GitHub, but I had to close public registration due to abuse.)
- HackerNews: @input_sh (I use it mostly to yell at Silicon Valley tech bros.)
